suspension or brakes first?
I want to replace all the brake parts from hoses and calipers and rotors/drums to mc and booster.
But I also want to replace as many suspension parts as possible as well. coils, shocks, tierods, bushings etc. (ill have lots more questions on this) I cant do them both at the same time for finance and space reasons. I cant have everything taken apart in the parking lot... soo. which to do first? does it matter? They will be done about a month apart. I've done brakes before (been a long time) and I've changed shocks but never done any other suspension stuff. A lot of it looks scary with weird tools and large hammers... |

Re: suspension or brakes first?
I'd rather stop from hitting something than being able to run slolumns. The way people drive out here, dang! For me, brakes first.

Re: suspension or brakes first?
If you DD it then definitely brakes. Not to mention once you've done the brakes once they will be easier to remove the second time, because you'll already know how!

Re: suspension or brakes first?
good point on it being easier the second time. Its not a DD. just goes to home depot every once in a while.

Re: suspension or brakes first?
X2 on brakes first. Stopping takes priority over ride quality.

Re: suspension or brakes first?
Another vote for brakes first due to safety reasons.
