Question Steering

I know this question has been beat to death, but I was trying to call around to the junk yards around here about front k-members with disk brakes. I want to make sure that any one up to 87 will fit my 69 c-10 and is around $200 a good price? Anyone here in Vegas know of any good deals?

up to 87 will fit, but you're better off getting one a little older. Metric hardware on the front end will cause you to buy those stupid metric tools.
Metric fastners is about the only reason to want the older crossmember set up.
As for price, I can't say, but I would expect it cleaned, removed and put in the back of my truck (with rims) for that price.

Thanks Longhornmail, I thought I remembered seeing that but sometimes I get information mixed up. Better safe than sorry.
