Can anyone ID this power steering box?
Bought from junkyard. Was told mid 80s. Any details you can give me will be helpful. I'm gonna try to put it on my 69 2wd. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device |

Its a 4wd box, not sure if you can use that on 2wd.

Re: Can anyone ID this power steering box?
The difference is in the pitman arm, location of the pitman arm and the attachment of the pitman arm. The 2wd pitman arm fits on a splined shaft and is held on by a large nut. The 2wd pitman arm points to the rear when the box is centered. On the 4wd the pitman arm is clamped to the splined shaft and points outward to the left with the box centered.

Re: Can anyone ID this power steering box?
Thanks y'all. I called the junkyard and suppose to swap out for a 2wd. I now see the difference.
