Door hinge bolts
For those of us with Task Force trucks that have taken the doors off and removed the hinges and the bolts were all rusted up, when you turned the bolt and it turned the caged nut inside the door jamb and bent up or broke out the cage to keep the nut in place and from turning what did you do to repair or replace the cage and the nut ?

Re: Door hinge bolts
Hello 57 half ton. Saw your question about your hinges. I had the same problem and this is what I came up with. Hope it helps.

Re: Door hinge bolts
Nice fix. I guess I was lucky (not). The whole lower hinge mounting area in my truck was rusted out. I welded in the new assembly. The uppers on mine were intact.
