Optional Horn Upgrade Question
I located a dual horn set up on a 69 Chevy yesterday along with a set of GMC headlight bezels and a perfect 68 owners manual My question is what do you do to fix a horn that just toots ? Not a loud horn sound like it should ? Bad horn relay ? I want to mount the high note horn today do I need a new relay to make two horns work, will post a photo later today ! Thanks

I actually banged min on a 2x4 a few times and it cleared up. Some even have a little tuning screw close to the center by the bracket. Others like the one on my Corvette didn't fare so well. It had to be replaced.

I have used a rubber hammer to smack the horns that don't work for years and it usually gets them to working. Results are better if you have power to the horn while smacking it with the rubber hammer.
