So I have been buying, fixing and selling some trucks lately to help pay some bills while work is slow this winter. I've been on craigslist constantly the last few months and have found some great buys.

Yesterday I picked up this 84 c30 dirt cheap, its a 454, 3sp, absolutely ZERO rust, runs excellent, couple dents under the tail lights but the dually fenders are good.

It had headers and straight pipe so today I got some cheap thrush mufflers welded up, cleaned out the cab, yanked about a mile of bad wiring, and drove it around a bit. I love this truck!! I'll get some pictures after I get it all cleaned up.

its even got custom led lighting

Only gave $650 for it, guy said the county was charging him $100/day for having it parked in his yard. I think he was just short on $$

I thought it was a pretty good deal, I think it will sell pretty quick but if not its going to make me a great work truck.

I've been pretty lucky, I'm sure I'll get "stuck" with one of these trucks sooner or later though. I'm only buying trucks that I can use or like though

They have all been selling on craigslist locally.

I think I might have a buyer for the dually Wednesday, and I have another truck lined up already. I figure if I can make a few bucks and learn some bodywork/tuneup skills it will pay for my CC build. My boys are really enjoying helping clean and get the trucks ready so the work going into them has more than been worth it. The two squares I've sold so far I REALLY wanted to keep, especially the K5

and the K10 sold last weekend

Dually sold last week. Found another K10 swb, I robbed the factory sport bumper and brackets for my cc project, cleaned it up a bit, just need to change a window motor and power steering pump and it'll be ready to go. First truck I've ever had with with factory black interior, a sport bumper, or sport mirrors
