Question Got some mint 15x8 rally wheels from Craigslist

Probably overpaid, but they are nice. Taken off a new truck in 1983 and stored ever since. Got two extra rims thrown in the deal.

After I sealed the deal, guy tells me he has been trying to sell them since Hurricane Ike hit Houston! Like three years. See his pics below from the ad. Notice the trash pile in the first pic!

Oh well, they are mine now. Super nice seller, he didn't screw me. If I got screwed, I did it to myself.

$250

Now i need lugnuts and screws for attaching caps...

I don't think you got screwed (except for the lack of attaching hardware....). The caps in that shape would fetch close to that on ebay. Good deal! Now just don't cheap out on the tires.

Nice purchase. You can't buy the correct trim rings aftermarket so those alone in pristine condition are worth a good bit of money. If you want the factory style cap screws look on the 67-72 parts board. There is a thread selling them in sets of 12.

You got your money worth in Caps and Rigs.. Rims are the bonus.

NICE find.
Fasteners are easy enough to find. LMC or Classic Ind. or your local auto supply store

For all those rallys, that's a steal if they were mine I would have a couple widened out to 10"

If I were in your shoes, I'd be proud to have made that score. You did well.
