fuel question
i am trying to run the fuel pump out of my 2001 yukon donor vehicle for my swap into my 69 blazer, now, the intake has the place on it where a line ran back to a canister on the side of the fuel tank,,first off, what is this line, second, do i need it,,3rd,,do i need the canisters off of the stock yukon tank for this application. im trying to use as much wiring from the yukon as possible, plus the gauges, thats why im trying to use the stock pump just to simplify everything(or not...lol)also,, is there a ring i can get somewhere that will let me use this pump in another gas tank,,or will i just need to make something

Re: fuel question
Thats the canister purge port. It had a solenoid in it. I doubt your 69 has a cannister. If it does you can hook it up, but you can have it removed in the tune with no issues. Jay

Re: fuel question
Either put the solenoid in and leave it unhooked, or just plug it. Most of the time when you send a computer out for a hot rod/swap, they lump Purge/Charcoal Cannistor/EGR/Rear o2 etc all into "emissions" and remove it all.
