Lower ball joints for CPP spindles

Ok so I have 2 1/2 drop spindles from CPP and the new lower ball joints won't go in far enough. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what can I do to fix it. This is my first time lowering a truck I usually go up!!!oh my truck is a 70 C10 was changed to disc brakes years ago parts came off a 72. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

63-70?
71-72?
73-87?
