Re: Front fender question

I've considered this also, from what I can tell you have to change the fenders, hood, and rad. support. Of course the grille . Your 72 front bumper should have the park lights in it , so it will be different also.If anyone wants to correct me feel free. I'm not 100% sure about tithe rad. support.

Re: Front fender question

Yes, radiator support, hood latch, grille support, lower splash pan, hood, grille, fenders.

Finding a whole clip intact makes things a lot easier. But of course finding a complete clip is near impossible. Maybe a parts truck, etc. Also, 68-72 GMC fenders will work for your needs.

67 front fenders will not have the marker light hole (you may know this .. not assuming you dont)

67 Chevy - No marker light, single year specific. Hard to find
68 Chevy - Also single year specific but it has a marker light hole
69-72 Chevy - all the same

67 GMC - Same as 67 Chevy - No marker light hole
68-72 GMC - all the same, and the same as 68 Chevy

Hope this helps. Oh, your fender to core support brackets will work, and inner fenders. 67-72 all the same. I personally would swap out the front bumper too and get one without blinker holes in it ... but that's your call.

Re: Front fender question

Your truck being a 72 it probably has marker lights in the rear now.. so I would do marker ligjts in the front too. Just sayin.

Re: Front fender question

I hope you have good luck with finding oem or nos parts. It seems like they are getting hard to find in good shape. Lots of aftermarket products available, but shipping is crazy.
