Gotta love OLD SCHOOL!

New Stuff is Ok if you like complicated take it to the dealer if something goes wrong and the smell of plastic in the cab,,But there is something to be said About OLD SCHOOL STEEL! Drove the truck to the ranch today for its Dirt Road test run with the BB and new suburban 44 gal Tank and my up grades,,Ran like a champ and cruzes down the road at 65 mph at 1800 rpm with a touch of the gas,,Gotta Love Old school no Smog Big Block Power!

Nothing better than old school. Being able to sit under the hood while you workis great. No pc needed to work on these trucks.

1800 rpm would be nice, what tranny do you have or does it have really high gears in it.
Mine turns more like 2600rpms at 65.

hell yeah. gotta love these 4x4. i would like to see how you got your fuel tank installed. i need a big tank for my 71 4x4.

Also I do not even know what gearing is in it,,right now it has a turbo 350 with 35" tires and built 396,,I am swaping in the 85 3/4 ton 8 lug suburban axles with a 4L60e trans soon and those axles have 4:10 gearing,,you can see the donor suburb in the back ground.
