Hello from Alberta

Thought I'd say hello in the newby section. This being my first classic chev project, I'll be asking a ton of questions.

I'm a 31 year old hardcore VW enthusiast, having owned 15 to date (2 in the stable right now). Also been playing guitar for 15+ years, was in a blues/funk band for quite some time. Working oilfield over in Iraq on a 28/28 schedule.

So, if there's anyone looking for vw help, gear chat, or thinking about working in the middle east, feel free to send me a message. :P

Anyways...

Bought this truck to do a budget mod resto, to make a cool daily / trailer puller for my VW Squareback. Truck is ruuuuusty in all the typical areas. I'll jobber panel as much as I can, but the box might be a bit harder to fix and track down. Luckily I have a good autobody friend :P

my RSTBKT

my custom squareback on air.

And our grocery getter, with some extra's

Hope to make some friends, give and get some good advice, and get this truck into a decent daily!
