wheel backspace question
I have a few oem style steel wheels that I can use my dog dish style caps on. I am looking for wider wheels to put on back. I am not sure if these are a match or if the lug size and backspacing will work. Can someone point me in the right direction....
by the I have a 68 c-10, 6 lug, just want to run a wider tire on the rear below is the link of what I have found. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wv...0604/overview/ Posted via Mobile Device

Re: wheel backspace question
They will fit, but your rear axle is the narrow one, so that will be a factor, especially if you put disc brakes on the front. If you go with the stepper, that will change your clearance as well. PLEASE take some advice from a guy who just bought his third set of wheels in one year for the same truck, lol. Put a set of rollers on, then get your suspension built, then MEASURE, and then pick a set of wheels that meet all your wishes. I just don't want you to do what I did. Plus, if you want 15x8 steelies, they are all over CL for a whole lot cheaper than those Wheel Vintiques.
