Who builds a C10 in New York?
I noticed alot of builds come from the same places...I have always loved trucks especially Chevy trucks and because my first vehicle was a Chevy Blazer and I regretted selling it, I bought a 69 CST 10 in '08 to make a new project for me..I have done alot to it since I parked it after using it a few years as it was. I got into a 350 vortec and 700r4, had the driveshaft shortened to run with the 3:55 posi rear and started to map out how i wanted it to look, all the trim was shaved, the marker lights and post holes as well. Wood bed is next but not before I pick up parking lights and taillights in LED to go with the performance headlights I picked up. I will post some pics of it so far, let me know if you all have suggestions. The color will be Malibu Sunset Metallic buried in some clear and polished up. I have a new grille and billet inserts as well....poly body mounts, an electric fan and A/C I will hook up in the future... I hope it looks as nice as I can imagine. Also, the tank was moved from the cab to the rear of the truck. All comments welcomed. Thanks all.

Re: Who builds a C10 in New York?
i put the motor in from a '95 suburban and it had a 700r4 with it....low miles 800 bucks...couldnt beat the price, LS perhaps in the future but I want to get it running so I can hit the east end on Long Island this summer and enjoy the truck... I will get more pics when it's in primer and in the color that's intended.... I also included the new steering wheel 15" diameter, I am really looking forward to driving it around... set up for front end rear, brakes, and etc I picked up from performance online... haven't even driven it yet with the new set up there is no question that I will love it.... I also like reading about everyone else's rides as well, keep on truckin'

Re: Who builds a C10 in New York?
thanks jason...i wanted to use something that would work and keep it pretty glossy.I just prepped it really well with a powerwasher and the marine clean from the kit... it was very similar to por15 which I have used in the past, I think the KBS people are former employees at por 15. I wanted to keep the frame which was in good shape...that is more than I can say for the body which was bad in all the normal places especially for here in the northeast

Re: Who builds a C10 in New York?
On the engine I used a few polished clear powdercoated march underdrive pulleys...the pic doesnt show the power steering pulley which is also from march, I really love the way it runs.... i will be running the ends of the exhaust out in front of the rear wheels couple of these will do the trick
