Door Handle Escutcheon? Are these for Window Cranks?

Ok sorry this is the third thread about my door panels but I'm a rookie. So my door handle after it eventually get's mounted right, mounts tight with no gap. But my window crank has a large cap. Question is the door escutcheon's used for the window cranks? If so I find two different ones for the door handles. Which one is correct. Different websistes say this one fits up to 72 but some say only 67-71...

http://www.classicindustries.com/tru...ts/cx1508.html

Then some websites say this one fits 72-77...

http://www.classicparts.com/1972-77-...ctinfo/18-046/

So which one is correct and can I use it for the window crank?

If you have 72 door panels you want the flat ones listed in the classic parts catalog

Not sure why the gaps would be different between window winder and door handle. They both take the same eschutcheon in 67-71 or '72.

Do you think my window regulator could be the wrong year? Or did I buy the wrong window crank? I thought all 67-72 cranks were the same depth?

All the handles interchange 100%...are the same, except '67s look different. I do wonder if you possibly have a mix between longer '72 shaft and shorter 67-71 shaft on one door. How much is the difference? How far does the one stick out?

Re: Door Handle Escutcheon? Are these for Window Cranks?

My '67 has a longer shaft on the window regulator handle and the door opening handle on the driver's door and we did not notice it until we were putting the handles on. It is just another bit of character my truck has, lol.

Just under a 1/4 inch... That's why I wondering if the correct 72 washer would work.
