Early 60s Posi Rearend
I posted this on the Engine and Drivetrain section as well:
I'm just wondering how good and how desireable a GM part# 3817778 Dana 3.73 Posi (I believe) crown, pinion and differential is. It is curreently in a 62 or so half ton. Is it swapable into 67-72 trucks? Al |

rear
The rear should fit, but if i remmber right the early ones only have 18 spline axles and spiders. The newer 65-66 up had 30 spline axles and spiders. This means that it wont take as much abuse as the others.
