New to the forum , first C10 build

Hello,
My name is Luke, im new to the forum and am gonna be building my first c10 pickup.sorry about the typo in the title, not sure how that happened.
I will try and get some pics up as soon as I get it home.picking it up from a friend of the family. Was running when parked 20 years ago. 1970 c10 shortbedpickup.
What motors were offered in 1970 ? I popped the hood and it had a smallblock chevy in it. I think ill be the 3rd owner. Needs paint, but body is in good overall shape, never in an accident. Seems like a good starting point. I know stuff out here in southern CA is always overpriced but I think I did ok on the price for it being all original and with so little body/rust.

Ive owned a number of chevys , 78' and 84' 4x4's, 69 camaro, 65 chevelle, 63 nova hardtop.
Current project besides the new truck is my custom chopped / airbagged 1949 ford
This seems like a great site, glad to be part of it
