Project 64

Hey guys, working on the 64 and being shortened from long to short as well as the frame being boxed I am having issues with the a way to mount the rear bumper. I understand one bracket goes on the inside and one on the outside of the frame rail. Do you think I can flatten one of the brackets and put them both on the outside and manage to line up for the bumper holes..? The frame is boxed in and dimple dyed all 4 linked. Any thoughts...?
