? for the very low boys out there

Ok i have a 5 1/2 static drop and 3 in body drop. I ran shorter tires on the front than i wanted. After i got the fenders on i measure and there is about 4" from the top of the tire to the inner part of the fender where the hood hinges bolt on. My question is will the bumpstops bottom out before contact is made or am i going to have to run custom hinges and cut the inside of the fender. How much travel is in the suspension. I still have factory stops on factory a arms. I would like to get two inch taller tires. Like some 245 60 15. It has 225 50 15s now on 8 wide rims you can see a pic on my aviator or profile. Thanks for the help. Also if i have to relocate hinges. Where is a cheap place to get them or does anyone have plans so i can fab some up. Thanks rob

I think it's easier for you to answer your question than us.
Load up your front suspension and see when and where tire contact is made.
Everything from our point of view would be a guess.

You say 3" body drop?
How was this accomplished?
Lowered cab mounts and core support mounts?
Or do you mean you "Z'd" the front frame?

Porterbuilt Fabrication is the only company, that I know of, that makes hood hinges for these trucks.

Dropped core mounts, custom front cab supports and dropped brackets. I guess i could pull a spring out and jack the a arm up and see if the tire or stop hits first but i just thought someone out there may have run into this situation. With the springs loaded there is 4in room =)
