Mystery Connectors

I just picked up this c30, 454 dually. Doing the wire chasing game. Has quite a few improvements to the wiring harness, most of them involving scotch locks. Funny, but most the nice water resistant connectors are unhooked. Attached is a pic of two gems over the rt valve cover.
Any ideas about what these go to are greatly appreciated.

The aftermarket electric fuel pump is also just direct wired off ignition. It does have a fuse, but not an oil pressure cut off or any sort of relay. Would a 2 prong oil pressure switch work, or is the 3 prong necessary? If so, part numbers are appreciated. I really would like to avoid shooting gas out of a broken line in case of a rupture if possible. Eventually I probably would put a mechanical back on, but it seems to waste a perfectly good electrical pump.

Thanks,

Re: Mystery Connectors

bump,
I am thinking it may be related to some sort of transitional electronic carb that is no longer there?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
