Manifold question
I need to change the leftside (passenger side)manifold I need to know if 70s & 80s are the same.

The 72 on back are completly different from the 73 up.

Not exactly. Two wheel drive and 4 wheel drive are even different with curved dump on 2WD straight down dump on 67-72's with 4WD. Due to clearance of the engine cradle and frame differences and stock engine positions. Then even some earlier years the alternator mounts to the l/h (Drivers side) manifold also. Provided the original configuration hasn't been changed over the years.
(Passenger side would be the right hand side as you sit in the vehicle while driving. This is the common way to determine which manifold you need.) That side is the one most prone to cracking.

OK is the passenger side and yes the alternator is is on driver side
