Cut down Ochre/ white 72 SWB Cheyenne 6 cyl on Autin Tx C-List

Not mine and I have never sen it in person, but if it was done right, it seems to be a decent price. I wonder what the fuel mileage is with the 6 cyl and OD trans...

From the add, I gather that the truck is an embarrassment. He says the parts were mortified.

If the body is as nice as it looks, I'd pay $6,500-$7,000 for it.

One of the best color combos out there IMO.
I like the line that he is "motivated to sell at the right price". What a mixed message that is. We are all ready to sell at the right price, but if we love it, the "right price" is probably a lot more than anyone would be willing to pay.

Thanks, might have to go look at this one. If I do does anyone want pictures of anything in particular?

Does the fact that it was cut down present a can of worms?

not necessarily, if done right. If done wrong, weak frame is not a good thing. Even if done correctly, a cut down long bed will not demand the selling price of an actual shortbed. If not re-selling or flipping, it doesn't matter - it's a great way to get a shorty for a few less bucks than an original one.
