Painting leaf springs
Anyone dissasemble and paint their leaf springs?? Any luck or tips??
Anyone use teflon spacers btwn each leaf? I wonder if the leafs will end up rusting no matter what you do??

Sorry I don't have an awnser to your question. I want to rebuild mine as well. I plan on using por15 on the leafs. I'm having trouble locating new pads though. Good luck!

I used Slip Plate to paint mine. Its a teflon impregnated paint. It is super slick and pretty durable. I used that and replaced the plastic buttons on the ends and used spacers in the center between the leaves from a later model chevy truck. I did my jeep like this a few years ago it has held up great and still rides incredibly well.
