1963 Body Ticket's & Dealer Invoices

I think I have the terminology correct. If not please correct me. I'm learning something new as well.

The Body Ticket was taped to the glass during shipping, I was told. The dealership would remove it during inspection to make sure all the Specifications and Options were present .

These Body Tickets have Owners Service File Record stapled to the back of them with the new owners name and address. Serial Number, Delivery Date, Key Number, Transmission Number, Engine Number and Rear Axle Number. The reverse side was signed by the new owner. This card was torn from the Chevrolet Truck Protection Plan page 2, found in the dispatch box ( glove compartment ). I don't know if stapling the two documents together was common practice with all dealers.

There seems to have been 5 copies with Carbon Tracing Paper between. If you look in the upper right hand corner there are red numbers indicating what copy you had and it's destination. Having driven truck, I can, with confidence state that the driver never really cared what copy you got, or the client got. lol

1. Body Ticket
2. ?
3. Sales Dept. Record and Gateman's Pass
4. ?
5. Dealer's Copy

There are two capital " E " punched through the paper on the Gatemans Pass and Dealers Copy across from the 4 spd. Transmissions, HD Springs &Oil Bath Air Cleaner? I don't know why!

These are all from the Janesville Wisconsin Plant delivered to the Lindberg Motor Co. of Rothsay Minnesota.

I'm using these to try to figure out what the letter means beside the RPO codes.

Does your serial number match any of these?

Now these, I was told, are Dealer Invoices from two dealerships in Iowa. KYHL CHEVROLET-BUICK CO. Parksburg Iowa and KEMMANN CHEVROLET CO. Lowden Iowa.

Two invoices have TRUCK DEMONSTRATOR DECAL printed on them which I believe was the Decal with "Check the Champ" Promotion for attracting customers to the dealership for a test drive. This promotion started in Septemeber of 62 and was pushed in October of 62.
I've been looking for an Original Decal or a good colored picture of this decal for years. All the pamphlets, folders, mailers and brochures I've found have different colors and arrangements.

Seems there was a credit for having a DEMONSTRATOR on your lot. 3rd. scan

I didn't write notes on the invoices. They came this way.
