posting pictures

Ok, I've been looking at this site for a long time. Now it's time to post some pictures of my project.
So where do I find instructions on how to do that ? Or am I too old to learn how ?

Re: posting pictures

Never too late to teach an old dog new tricks....
click on post reply, it'll take you to where there are two other boxes the first a white box where you can type something about you pictures or just ask a question,, the box under the first one will say manage Attachments, click on that and five lines will come up and by clicking on those one at a time you can go to where your pictures are stored and pick what you want to show, once you have all five pictures loaded you click the upload button and it will store your pictures.. type something in the first box of what you've posted and then click on submit reply and they will post to the site.. Now sometimes if the pictures are to big to load try loading two or three first and then the other two if you're posting 5 at a time... hope this helps and waiting to see some pictures..

Re: posting pictures

The other way to post so they show up full sized is:

Post your pictures on a site like Photobucket (it's free). Once they're on there, there'll be a box on the right side that says "img code" or something like that. If you point to it and click it, it says "image copied".

Then on this site you write whatever you want in the text box and when you're ready to post the picture just right click and paste the "img code" you copied. When you finally press enter the full sized photo is magically (im older too, lol) there!

Re: posting pictures

Putting the photos on a photo host and using that to post them not only allows you to post photos here pretty easily it gives you an album on your project that you can share or others can follow. If you modify, move or delete the photo on the photo host it lost on here though.

For the site it's self it's best to adjust the size of photos before attaching them to the post as the site doesn't load large photos and possibly very high resolution photos well.
