Probably a 6 to 8 inch lift rpms depends your gear ratio with those tires.

I clear 37x14.50s with a 6" bds with 1" zero rates up front. I wouldn't try it on a 4" lift unless you don't mind cutting fenders or body lift.

GHAH! How have I missed that K5? What is that fabulous looking front bumper that you have? Great looking K5.

Re: thinking hummer tires

lol thanks. it has no markings and no identifying things. it appears to have been made by ARB and has styling from that. supposedly from when they were called "aussie"?
no clue really. it came on my truck when i bought it and it is definitely well made and if it was one off it was by a very skilled person. 1-3/4 tubing bent up to press broke 1/4 plate bottom part. it is a winch bumper also under the plate.

i painted it black and put it on my dually a while back. when i sold the dually it was a deal breaker if the bumper didnt go with it.

on topic lol, this is 4 inch and zero rate with 36s

Re: thinking hummer tires

4 inch lift might work if you use some cut out fender flares maybe.

Re: thinking hummer tires

Are you going to run those military take off's? The 16.5" 37's? I had a set of those on my lifted ford and suprisingly they rode well and the wheel turned ok in the parking lot.

thats what i am thinking of doing. i know that i will nee to lift the truck some for the motor swap but i dont want to get so high. not really crazy about a 7 inch lift lol
but with 37 tires it helps with trans options
