(2) T-5 Transmissions - Mechanical Speedo out

Looking to do a T-5 swap?

I have (2) T-5 transmissions both from S-10s so they have the shifter up front vs. the Camaro version that is 7" back. Both are mechanical speedo out which are becoming harder and harder to find. One however has the mechanical speedo gear inside but the tail housing has an electronic speedo connector, I'm not sure if you can just swap the connector or not.

For the full mechanical Speedo I am asking $400 obo + shipping (try and find one, they are getting harder and harder to come by). For the mechanical with electronic tail housing, $300 obo + shipping.

Re: (2) T-5 Transmissions - Mechanical Speedo out

GM put the Borg Warner T5 in S10s, Astro Vans and Camaros in the mid 80s through the 90s. I am not aware that they were in 4 cylinders but I could be wrong. I currently have one in my C10 build behind a SBC and I know they are used in many applications. There is a rather thorough thread on these forums about it here: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=482069

Hope that helps,
