can anyone tell me what was the original part # for a choke pull off for my quadrajet 7042218 . i have a 72 ...with a 402 and looking for a choke pull-off but want the original manufacture part. thx.....dave

You talking about the housing that has the spring in it that heats up and "pulls the choke off" when it warms up?

I have a factory original that came off a 1971 El Camino. But I'm betting it is the same one. If you want it, you can have it. Let me know.

no... the one that has a plastic vacuum to it. but thats ok. i just found one. thx for the reply. dave
