WTB- 12 bolt posi
Looking for a 12 bolt posi for my 63. Coil spring rear end. Would like a bolt in project that I dont have to do lots of fab too. Prefer something fairly local as shipping would be expensive. Other option is to convert to 30 spline rear gears/axle. But like to see what options are available.

Can pop of the rear cover and see if its a posi or jack up one side of truck and see if the axle will turn w/one rear wheel on the ground. Taking off the rear diff cover is the positive id though. Pic of posi vs non-posi. Posi is 1st pic, has the springs inside

Well, the 30 spline axles are easier to find posi's for than the 17 splines. What do you want on the rearend?

OK, sounds good. If you can hold that and the springs, Ill make some time to get up there and pick it up. Can do in July at the truck show, or can come earlier if you need me too. It'll also give me the self adjusting rear brakes, which are a little easier than what I have now.
