Rear end sag

it seems the rear of my 85 sags a little bit, and the ride is really rough. will new shocks fix this or do i need new leafs also? i have pictures i just dont know how to post them

Sounds like the leaf springs are loosing their arch. In which case you will need to replace them soon.

If the shocks are bad replace them if that don't fix it then its the springs.

Yea go with the shocks first, the cheeper fix is always wear u start.

Wrong. Springs controll the ride height. Shocks only control the dampening of the springs. If a vehicle is sagging, then its the springs that are bad. Leaf springs do loose their arch over time, especially if the vehicle has carried heavyloads in the past.

I would start be getting a quote from Alcan Spring or Deaver Suspension. Read through their sites, contact them, they can give you a quote; they both build custom leaf packs.
