Anyone running a GMC pontiac 347? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Just curious if anyone is running their gmc 347. There was one in my truck but im going a different route. I done some searching a few years ago about one and seem to be pretty uncommon.

They are not common but not rare either. Its a true truck engine made as a truck engine for a truck not like Chevy that tossed in a car engine to save money. If I'm not mistaken 389 Pontiac parts fit that engine. One was based off the other but don't exactly remember which was which.

Yeah sad part is looks like its New home will be scrap yard before much longer.
