mirrors mounted
Got them mounted, I know a lot of people do not like these kind of mirrors but this truck would not be the same truck without them.

Re: mirrors mounted
Looks very nice and fitting to the style of your truck. I don't think the little sport mirrors would look right with your truck.

Re: mirrors mounted
I'm a big fan of the original look, are you keeping with that theme with the whole truck?

Re: mirrors mounted
Some think they create a small blind spot. But agree they look good.

Re: mirrors mounted
Just add 2 1/2" or 3" concave mirror to bottom corner to fix blind spot.

Re: mirrors mounted
Looks great! If my truck didn't already have the holes in the doors for the tripod mounts, I would have gone with those.

Re: mirrors mounted
Perfect... BTW The "blind spot" is considered to be the area behind the mirror the driver cannot see. This is the reason below eye lines were developed, so the driver can see over the top of the mirror. Of course people often mount the mirror too high not understandng this.

Re: mirrors mounted
Thanks everyone for the comments, both my boys also said stay with the mirrors. And yes burb71 everything will be original as the body goes but its setting on a 72 fourwheel drive frame. Well I take that back, it was 3ott but now auto and tilt wheel, power brakes and sterring.
Sammy and Tim, Daddy Brim it had a small round mirror mounted on there but I cant find it now, I will have to keep digging.

Re: mirrors mounted
The cats that don't like those style mirrors must not like trucks in general. Those mirrors look cool as hell! Nice!!!
