Grill fitment question

Could anyone tell me if a grille with turn signals in the grill will fit a 72 without changing fenders and hood?? If i use my stock grille brackets?

Re: Grill fitment question

That depend on if you are talking about a 67-68 or a 69-70.

A 69-70 will fit. Use the brackets on the 69-70. If you want it to look right, you need to change the bumper also.

If you are talking about a 67-68, then the fenders, hood and radiator supprt need to be changed. Basically the whole front clip.

I am not sure if they are the same brackets. Maybe someone else can tell you for sure. It is possible they will work.

Re: Grill fitment question

According to the LMC catalog, the left and right brackets are the same part number but the center is different from 69-70 to a 71-72.

Hope this helps.

I swapped a 72 grill into my 69 years ago and don't remeber changing anything.
