Inflation fighter gets a makeover!

Well i figure its time to make one of these build threads hopefully it will make ls swaps easier for others. The truck was a 250 straight.6 with 3 on the tree.

This is what it looked like before i lowered it

Then the 4/6 drop was installed along with coys

Re: Inflation fighter gets a makeover!

I drove this for a couple of months while i gathered up ls swap parts.
I got a brand new engine for it because this is going to be my DD

This is what i did for the temp sensor so i can keep factory gauges

Fuse panel bracket for the engine. It will be hidden behind the motor.

Fenders ready for primer then paint. My goal is to have everything under the hood painted and everything outside original.

Re: Inflation fighter gets a makeover!

Your going to love the way this truck runs when completed. It's hard to explain until you drive one of these oldies with modern tech. Leaves a smile on my face all the time. Keep up the good work definitely watching this.

Re: Inflation fighter gets a makeover!

It really looks good. But you said that there is a fuse panel bracket behind the engine. I take it that there is going to be a fuse panel also. Is the heat from the motor going to be to much. Just thinking.

Thanks! I didnt really have room under the dash for this stuff because of vintage air so i had to compromise.
