Glendale/ Los Angeles Can I borrow a 67-72 radiator?
Hey all,
So I'm getting frustrated with determining the electric fan thing. I have a dual electric fan setup from an 08 escalade that came with my motor for my ls swap. Timing is crucial and I would like to see if I can trim it to make it work with my 4 core radiator. Problem is I can't pull the radiator on my daily driver to find out right now. Can I borrow a stock 4 core radiator for a coiue of days roses if I can make this thing fit. If it won't work then I won't be hung up waiti g for a fan solution in the middle of my build. The radiator doesn't have to hold fluid or anything. I just need to use it for mock up purposes for the fan only. Looking for someone near Glendale or Los Angeles Ca. Thanks in advance guys! Have you tried a local radiator shop? Surely someone has a core. There is also a tight so-cal group down around LA that may come to your rescue, just ask.

Near is a relative term around here. Where exactly are you needing this? A specific freeway intersection may turn up a very local contact on the board. Did you post to the SoCal I linked you to?

SS Tim,
No I haven't posted to the sight yet. Will do that tomorrow. I was hoping somebody in the glendale, Pasadena, Burbank area would pop up having an old one I could use. Even LA is reasonable enough for me. I just don't want to hunt one down at a junkyard and pay for it only to not be able to cut the fan down enough to work with the radiator. Posted via Mobile Device

Understand, that is why I wanted you to try on the "SoCal checkin' in" thread or even the "California" regional board. Like I said freeway intersections give a good idea on relative location in the LA area.
