Re: Wanted to share my 66 build
I bought it as a roller (no motor or trans) It had been semi-restored at some time in its life but the previous owner gave it to his son and he just let it sit outside until I talked him into selling it

Re: Wanted to share my 66 build
When I started looking for suspension and air ride kits it didnt take long to find Nate and Dave at Porterbuilt. After talking to Nate and seing what a amazing product he makes I placed my first order (front dropmember) and was able to see first hand why Porterbuilt is what I think is the best on the market. I should have my rear dropmember in a week or so..

Re: Wanted to share my 66 build
Looks good. Had fun removing the cab didnt you? Removed ours last night, with just my wife and I and now lift. IT was fun to say the least.

Re: Wanted to share my 66 build
After I placed my order with Nate for my rear dropmember I got to a slow spot with the 66 while I wait for it to arrive so I guess you could say I dont "idle" very well and my obsession with the 60 -66 c10s continues to grow. So I bought a 64 small window fleetside shortbed to entertain myself with until the parts for the 66 got here.

Re: Wanted to share my 66 build
Oh I know but already have the front dropmember installed on the 66 chassis and the rear crossmembers and trailling arms cross member out of as well. Just needed something to do while I wait. Exchanged a few emails with Dave and hope to have the rear kit here very soon...
