Stepside cab to bed clearance

I just put my bed on and the distance between cab and bed looks to be too much. Could anyone tell me the correct distance?

Thanks for the help

Re: Stepside cab to bed clearance

Thanks for the info and picture. I have 1 3/4 know it's just too big of a gap.
To get 1 1/4 I will have to redrill the mounts. Which is ok but the tire is not even close to be centered in the fender.

Can you or someone post a picture of tire and fender .

Thanks for the help

Re: Stepside cab to bed clearance

You must have one of your mounting brackets in the wrong place?
