got my 22s and 24s mounted

for those of you that were wondering along with me on my last post, the 24x10 centerline smoothies fit the rear just fine with 6" back spacing. Ill post pics when we get better weather and i get the truck out. 22x9 with 255/30/22 in front 22x9 with 275/25/24 in rear. not much rubber on those 25 series tires lol, looks good with a little stagger too

Re: got my 22s and 24s mounted

Give the guy a break... He'll get pictures.. He was just telling all of us to keep us in step with his build.. (Kinda like a virgin teenage boy who believes he's gonna get laid the first time at prom... He just doesn't know which girl it's gonna be yet--so he can't give details!!) :-)

With that said--show us the dang pics!!

Looks great but you must feel every pebble on the road with those tires.

Watch out for pot holes.

Re: got my 22s and 24s mounted

I'm usually not a big fan of huge wheels, but in this case I must say it looks really good.

Plus those wheels are sooo easy to keep clean. Must be a pain in the ass to mount those tires, though.

Yeah looking foward to some shows Creep. I was just told about a rat rod/hot rod club here on northeast ohio having a car show at a drive in theatre I believe in mentor. Slick devils c.c. $15 show admission with a movie at dark. Live rock-a-billy bands all day long. May 25, 2013 our trucks will fit in great there

Yeah, Don Moyer and his crew throw a good party, but avoid using the RR word...
Their club is anything but rr's.

Bunch of good guys with killer Gassers and traditional hotrods.

Don also is competition directer for the Gasser Reunions at Beaver Springs in PA and Thompson here locally.

I plan to be there.

I know this is OT and sorry to derail your post, but feel maybe we're talking about two different groups.
These are the core members of the Slick Devils. They did have 2 Model A hotrods there that are unfinished, but still worlds away from a RR.

Maybe your idea of a rr is vastly different than mine...
