Leaf springs - what is stock?

My truck, 72 GMC long bed half ton, is undergoing restoration. As part of that, I have some plans for the rear suspension. I wanted to look at the original spring rates, but I am finding that none of the springs which are listed for this truck match what's under there. Currently it's 3 leaf plus an overload. Is this a stock pack? It looks it. Can anyone talk about what stock packs were available and what I have on here?

Thanks

What is listed on the SPID and what is the rear axle rating on the data plate?

The original rear axle is gone. The tag says "G70 R suspension leaf spring".

Re: Leaf springs - what is stock?

Look my GMC references are limited on this. So I am trying to work it backward from the chevy side. They should be 1250-lb each, two-stage springs. BTW: If you need it, here are bruceman1968's decoders.

So far it looks like a four leaf would be the stock C10/C1500 application. If you are wanting heavier springs the standard C20/C2500 five leaf would be the step up on a half ton truck.
