New Guy from Southern Maine
Hi All,
First Post here; I've been around this awesome site for some time now, but haven't ever posted. I bought my first truck back in high school, an 84 C10 Stepside. I was really looking for a 68 C10, but couldn't find any in decent condition where I lived. Of course right after I bought the 84, my uncle found a 68 C10 that had a really clean frame and the body was not rusted out. I ended up buying that one as well. So in high school I slowly started fixing up the 84 and drove it through out college. I finally sold that a few years ago and have now been saving to buy parts for the 68. This spring I'm planning on buying a full Porterbuilt suspension with Accuair as the management system. I want to do this build right, but I also don't want it to take forever. I figure I get the suspension and drivetrain done and then get it driving so that I can start enjoying it. We'll see how it goes. I'm excited to start this project and can't wait to share it. Hopefully if I did this right, I've included pics of the 84 along with pics of the 68 when I got it. Thanks!
