Anyone ever seen helper springs like these?

RIDE CONTROL HELPERS

14" long x 2-1/4" I.D. Fit shock absorbers with up to 1-7/8" O.D. dust covers (large upper end of shock) and 1-5/8" O.D. cylinder (smaller end of shock). Specify heavy-duty shocks with up to 2-1/4" O.D. dust covers. Includes positioning cups, hardware and instructions. Choose 750- or 1,250-lb. capacity. Sold in pairs.

It doesn't specify what kind of trucks they could be used on.

saw a lot of them in the 70's, car owners used them a lot when used for towing. the ride quality stinks,........bouncy and choppy. they would help if you need extra load capacity, but the empty box ride would'nt be pleasant.
