Lower hose solution
Put in a Champion aluminum radiator today. The lower hose bung was larger than on the stock one. Needing a hose with a 90 degree bend and 1 3/4" ID on each end led me to a Gates 20957. For my application (dakota frame swap) trimming of the ends 1" and 8 1/2" made for a nice look.

Re: Lower hose solution
I took bent wires to the store and left with upper Gates 20416, lower Gates 20584. I had to shorten one end on each one. I have a big truck radiator, 350 engine with long waterpump.
