compressor problems

My 100 gal compressor threw a rod sad times. I was about to paint my truck was wondering if I can piggy back my three gal compressor on the 100 gal tank for time beeing. The 100 gal is going to take a very long time to unhook and get out.

Re: compressor problems

you can but that 3 gal compressor will never keep those tanks full together and from the run time it will take for the 3 gal to fill the 100 gal serious damage will acure to the pump on the 3 gal

Re: compressor problems

I would not your 3 gal is designed to pump a 3 gal tank not a 100 I think you would burn it up pretty quick

Re: compressor problems

Have you considered replacing just the pump rather than the whole compressor?
