Re: Which mirror??

I think that's just where the stock mirrors for your year were mounted. Is it a 72? It's probably the smaller square car type mirrors

Re: Which mirror??

yes, that is the original location of the square mirror with a three hole mount. LMC has for about $40 per side in a chromed mirror

I bought a couple of sport mirrors through LMC. They're ok, but the passenger side takes a little coaxing to turn inward far enough to see behind you. Mine haven't seen that much bad weather, but they look good after a year and a half.

Re: Which mirror??

Any vibrating issues or sight issues. I know the ones with arms tend to vibrate haven't heard much on these

Re: Which mirror??

No vibration issues, but the mirror heads are pretty small so they have to be adjusted perfectly to be usable.

Re: Which mirror??

I have the stock mirrors on mine and it's kinda hard to see out of them unless you position them right. They look pretty nice IMO. Big back window really helps with them also

the PO had put those on my 69 .. they are not that great for visibility; I didn't like them at all. The passenger side is pretty much useless. I'm putting the round 69 style back on. they have a longer arm that gets the mirror back to where you can see and actually use them.

Re: Which mirror??

I'm thinking of west coast but I plan on eventually pulling a camper and I want to see around it I know they all have their own pros and cons not sure if I like the square yet or not might try them until I get west coast originals

Re: Which mirror??

The visibility is pretty bad... If I had the choice I would go with something different but they're good for a dd for now.

Re: Which mirror??

If this is what you're talking about, that was on there:

They would be absolutely worthless for towing. In the pic I had even twisted them for a while seeing if that would help. It didn't.

Re: Which mirror??

yeah, but those would be much better for towing. As long as you didn't have kids swinging from them I think you'd be fine.
