I have my drop done on my 70 pickup but looking for pics of 18 inch wheels with that drop or 4/6 drop is close enough. Please post pics and let me know tire sizes. Just don't want to get the wrong size and regret it. Thanks

Not sure on the drop but it has 18's front and back.

Mine is lowered just about 4/6. Tires are 255/50/18 front and 275/55/18 rear.

You're where I got my tire size from about 4 years ago when I bought them. Just finally got the 5-lug conversion done and installed them. Always loved how your truck sat.

Thanks "Toddrh1".......just say "no" to gigantic hoops and rubberband tires!....I like some sidewall. Like those rims on your truck.

"Badpurple"....Unfortunately I've had this truck so long I don't recall exact specs on drop. It is dropped with stepped A-arms, springs, and small blocks I made in the back to get it just the way I wanted. My guess is it's pretty close to a 4/6 and maybe just a tad more.

Im going with ridler 695's wheels with 18x8 on front and 18x9.5 on rear. Wish you rememered what drop your truck was. Thanks for info

Assuming you have the wider 71-72 rear end housing?

My truck started life as a 70 gmc. I used a 72 donor truck for the swap to disc. Did some of the 70's have the wider rear already? I believe mine did. No issues i can see.
