wish this 4x4 gmc was closer...
http://littlerock.craigslist.org/cto/3693959946.html
running driving reliable 4spd bored over 350 with 90s captains chairs brand new tires. short bed gmc. if it was an hr away id buy it but its too far for me to drive and look at and get it home. driving her 2.5 hrs on the interstate would be lame and abusive on her. neat find. 7in lift. and $2500 in bearden ar.

Re: wish this 4x4 gmc was closer...
The pictures make it look like a long bed to me. So hard to tell on those angled pictures.
I am guessing by the captians chairs in what you typed above you have emailed or talked to the owner?

Re: wish this 4x4 gmc was closer...
38" swampers with detroit lockers front and rear sounds like a pita on the road. Probably an axle problem waiting to happen too. Body lifts never impressed me. Wonder how much legroom captain's chairs leave in the cab? Funny I didn't see "reliable" anywhere in the description either
Did you see he is selling another truck as well? http://littlerock.craigslist.org/cto/3672570092.html

Re: wish this 4x4 gmc was closer...
If you are not willing to drive a truck for 2.5 hours back home then you are in the wrong hobby. I have gone 4+ hours away many times to find good project trucks, you just have to plan your route accordingly.

Re: wish this 4x4 gmc was closer...
Too true. Made many trips the night/day before to have enough "on site" time.

Re: wish this 4x4 gmc was closer...
Yes i talked with the owner quite abit. Its a short bed. I dont thnk its a body lift. Just suspension looks like. And im not driving it on that rough of interstate. The only way to get it home is interstate the whole trip. And a truck of this condition with no truck and trailer to save you on a breakdown im not risking it.
