Bumper questions

My scenario:
I placed a '68 GMC 2wd cab onto a '72 Chevy 4wd chasis.

My question:
What bumpers and brackets do I need? I have the original '68 front bumper, but the outer brackets don't fit the frame. Do I need 4x4 outer brackets for the front or do they vary by year? Looking at the parts in LMC, I am not getting my questions answered.

Please help?

You need brackets for a 4x4 as they are different to clear the front spring hangers. These also differ by year and Marque. 67-70 Chevy and 67-72 GMC 4x4 bumper brackets are interchangeable. 71/72 Chevy 4x4 brackets are unique because of the turn signals housed in the bumper.

Not sure if these are being repro'd. Check with Wes at Classic Heartbeat.
