One inch front coil drop worth it?

I have the Early Classic 2 1/2 inch drop spindles in the front of my longbed fleet side GMC and put what was advertised to be 4-inch drop leaves in the back. The back actually came down about 5 inches. It sits level now, but it appears to have a reverse rake (front higher than the back). Being old school, I definitely like the ass end a little higher than the front. It's a static drop and don't want to get into a bunch of shock relocations and steering problems and figure 1-inch drop coil up front won't hurt anything, but will it be noticeable for the money?

For just a 1" drop, I'd just cut my front coils. Or add a 1" lift block to the rear if you don't want the front any lower than it is right now.

Newbie I`m assuming that your rear leaves are below your axle, so your only alternative is to cut one coil on the front, or new springs as said, another question arises here, when you installed your front springs did they set down into the spring end pockets, if not they will be one inch higher than should be..by the way welcome neighbor.

In my experence a 1 inch droped spring will not lower the front any more than your old spring.....cause the orginal spring has lost some of its length.....I found out the hard way...I bought a 2 inch dropped spring......BTW I have a 1 inch dropped spring set I'm wanting to sell ...my 2 cents worth
