frames

Does a 2005 cab or extended cab fit on a 88-98 frame !! Does anyone know if any of the newer year cabs fit on the older frames. I wonder as my friend has a 2005 ext. cab (mint) just sitting in his back yard and I have a 91 frame and a 98 frame that I could get my hands on !!! Any info or where to look !!! Thanks

Re: frames

I doubt it but I am sure with a torch and a welder it could. You would probably be best off to try with the 98 Frame. I'd also stick with whatever cab the frame had on it to start with as they have different lengths.
