LS motor mnts WHO'S ARE BEST

As I continue to move forward with the few trucks I have left, I can not help but to eye all the benifits of the ls based engines that are available. Don't get me wrong I love my 383 stroker motor, but the idea of a LSX 454 and a 4l80e has got me really thinking. What you say and how has your transplants gone. Again just dreaming like I do to much of. I like the aluminum Dart blocks for a bigger stroker mtr. as well if I do not ever go ls. I picked up a GM performance parts catalog last week and I can't seem to put it down. John

I like my 2005 5.3/4L60E combo in my 68 C20 with 3.54 Dana 60 gears. Tows good (6500 lb airstream) and runs descent on the highway and in town. Used 6 cyl towers and the 68 engine mounts to homemade adapters patterned of the internet. Puts the engine back closer to firewall.
